I was never big on wanting to learn the history of my family's past, but after seeing this remarkable house and the St. John's church that my family had built; it has me interested in alot more things now. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to come down and tour Rattle and Snap. It was awesome.

Hello,
BRAND NEW GROUP TOUR INFO. Rattle And Snap is now accepting tour groups of 4 to 14 persons. A two week advance reservation is all that is required. We have received numerous requests for smaller group numbers. Thank you everyone for your support.

Is Rattle and Snap open for tours other than group tours? I visited years ago and have always wanted to share it with my mother who is finally visiting the south!

Webmaster Comments   At this time the group tours are all that are being offered. The Rattle And Snap Plantation is privately owned and in order to make it cost effective to prepare and provide a tour guide it would take a group of fifteen at the rate stated on the website.

Thank you

I've been a couple of times, and LOVE the mansion. One day I took my mother there for her birthday, and we had the most wonderful tea, chicken salad and sorbet on the veranda. The grounds and mansion are so beautiful there. I sure hope the house remains and is always open to the public in some way. I would hate to lose it on our southern plantation heritage tours.

I visited Rattle and Snap several years ago and loved it. At that time you could make a reservation to lunch at Rattle and Snap. My husband and I will be moving to Waynesboro Tn. in a couple of years and I would love to have a nice Southern lunch there. Do you still serve lunch?
