I hope to see your beautiful home this spring. I will explore your site to see if and when it is open. I belong to the DAR and UDC . I think a few ladies might want to accompany me. Thank you.

Happy you have this web site, links to the Tennessee Crossroads, and the Guest House! I've been sending to interested family and hope to visit soon.

I grew up in Mt. Pleasant and drove by this beautiful home a dozen or more times a week. Still find it to be stunning! Would love to have a weddding here. Love the history of it too! A game of rattle and snap? Funny!

The plantation is beautiful. Are weddings hosted here? I'm looking for matrimonial locations, as it were.

Do you have facilities for lunch? I am celebrating a birthday and would love to have 7 cousins come with me.

This is a really bad website. You have to look to deep to find if you offer a lunch or an overnight stay or directions. These should all be "up front" bullets. Make it easy.

I am so excited to see this website, and even happier to be able to tour the house soon!!
I have been transcribing some of Sally Polk's letters in the past few weeks, and it is nice to see what she looks like!
To respond to E. Lara's e-mail: Sally and Mary were sisters. Mary's house was badly damaged in the Civil War, and she lived with Sally for several years after that. If you want more details I would be happy to trade some copies of Mary's letters with you.
